I think it is largely going to depend on whether the vacuum/ shopvac that you are using is strong enough and filtered well enough, but ours has worked great. Customer Review: Not much to say about a sanding block, but what I can say is that it is the most ergonomic and comfortable to use sanding block of any I have tried, especially when compared to my handmade ones...
Customer Review: works fine as a sanding block. Connection to vacume it cheap and will not stay connected while sanding, I had to wrap it with duct tape to make it functional, even then it only reduced dust it didnt eliminate it.
Customer Review: found it easier to just get on a ladder to do sanding, it was much more tedious trying to use this extension pole, the connection to vacume was poorly constructed and it broke.
