Customer Review: Worked great on drywall...not so great on anything else I tried to cut out. General Purpose should be drywall only...1/8 is not that big and they tend to easily break as can be expected by the size of the shaft.
Customer Review: I went through two of these to cut eight 14" x 6" holes in my 1950's era home for HVAC vents and *barely* made it. The edge dulls quickly when cutting a mix of thick drywall/plaster. Customer Review: The bits weren't very tough. It didn't take much to get them to snap off when I was using them to cut out circles in sheetrock. I was subsequently told by a friend who is a builder tht at in his opinion, while DeWalt tools are great, their bits and accessories aren't the best out there.
Customer Review: This bit hasn't been subject to very much cutting, but has held up well to some drywall and soft- & hard- wood cuts. Rather sharp, making quick cuts, and I'm not sure there is anything else you need to say about a cutting bit.
