Customer Review: I've had mine for a couple of years, and it has given excellent service. I'm an active do-it-yourselfer, so I put moderate use on the drill, but not the heavy use of a professional. I didn't think I needed the weight and expense of a half-inch drill, and that has proved to be the case. This drill... more info
Customer Review: I'm very happy with this drill. I'v owned three Dewalt's over the last five years and I was happy with them. I though I'd try this Makita to see if I can get more life out of the drill without sacraficing quality.
Customer Review: I bought this drill to replace a very old Makita 9.6. I have used it for several months on a number of projects. So far I have been completely satisfied.
Customer Review: Bought this as a replacement for one I wore out after many, many years of service. Handy for lots of small jobs, from sheetrock cutouts to shingling sidewalls. Be aware of the kick-back it is pretty strong. All the controls for adjustments are easy to use.
Customer Review: Ugly, but it does the job, and its light as a feather! Great for cutting thinner trim but it has its limitations. Spins the blade fairly slowly but its fast enough to cut to a good finish. Seems to be variable torque that kicks in to maintain blade speed under any load. Plenty of battery life too... more info
Customer Review: This drill/driver is fantastic! It has torque and power to spare, long battery life, easy and quick recharging, and great balance/feel for an 18V. Haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life. It drives 3 1/2" deck screws into treated lumber with ease. Also, has a light touch to the trigger... more info
Customer Review: I now have 3 of these drills for my cabinet shop business, the oldest I purchased over 10 years ago. One has a square driver, one a philips driver and one a countersinker and those bits just stay in the drills. They are light, compact and plenty strong enough almost all drilling/driver jobs and last... more info
Customer Review: The blower portion works real well. The hose could be longer so as to not have to stoop at times. An extention wand would be great. The vacuum is useless since the impeller is blocked by a non-removable guard under the intake by a plastic cross. One small leaf blocked it immediately. I laughed at... more info
Customer Review: Got this kit as gift. Very impressed so far. The drill has a nice balance to it and has plenty of power for any task a homeowner will throw at it. I like the fact that the drill is small in size and light weight. This is not an industrial grade contractor tool. It is geared more towards the average... more info
